Brant took the day off from work, and we celebrated as a family. We kept things simple . . . playing at home, lunch at Chick-Fil-A, and cupcakes last night. His birthday party with family and friends is next weekend.
His gifts:
We have never seen a Spiderman movie or TV show. I have no idea how my boys found out about him (or Batman). Maybe by seeing the toys or clothing? It's a mystery! Regardless of how they learned about these guys, they have fallen in love with all things superhero!
Quinn got Spiderman and the "Crime Mobile" for Christmas. Holden has ended up playing with it more than Quinn! So, we got him his own Spiderman complete with his "Crime 4-wheeler" (or whatever it's called!) . . .

Bob the Tomato . . .

and Larry the Cucumber . . .

After breakfast, we took him upstairs to see his final gift . . .

A race car ball pit!

We made sure that it would be big enough for both boys. And, they both fit . . . but, it sure is "cozy"!

Holden even let Daddy ride along . . .

Lunch at Chick-Fil-A:
Quinn does a great job of helping Holden to get up in the play center. Then, Holden gets scared coming back down. I always have to go in after him. Believe me . . . it's a tight squeeze up there (and not a pretty sight to watch)!

Does everyone out there know that you can exchange your kid's meal toy/book for ice cream? I only recently discovered this delicious fact!
