Happy Halloween

We didn't know what to expect with Halloween this year.  But, it ended up being so fun!  We masked up, walked the neighborhood, saw friends and got lots of candy.  Fewer houses participated, but it was completely ok.  A little low-key Halloween was still fantastic! :)

Quinn spent the day in Charlotte for the state XC meet.  Spectators were not allowed, but he had a long, fun day with his teammates and coaches.

He did such a great job!  He ran a personal record of 20:01, placed 3rd in his race and is now ranked 14th all time for the Bulldogs.  Wow!  Go Quinn!

Annual Photo Session

Once a year, these guys appease dear old mom and tolerate a family photo shoot.  They wear what I choose, smile and cooperate.  I'm so very thankful for these annual pictures and for these 4 guys of mine!  :)

Fall Break - Day 3

Today was our drive home day.  We drove through Maryland and stopped in Annapolis.  A friend recommended Cantler's Riverside for an authentic MD crab lunch.  It was a lot of work for a little meat... but it was a fun experience!  Ha!

We also explored around the waterfront of Annapolis.  What a pretty city!  And, what a great trip! :)

Fall Break - Day 2

Today was our Hershey day, which will definitely be the boys' favorite day of the trip!  ;)

We spent the morning at Chocolate World...

followed by the afternoon and evening in Hershey Park.  So fun!  :)

Fall Break - Day 1

I had big travel plans for 2020; we were scheduled to check 12 states off our our list.  After spring break and a summer trip to New England were cancelled due to COVID, 12 states became 2.  But I must say that after not leaving the state in a year, I'm extremely thankful for those 2 (Pennsylvania & Maryland)!

We're staying in a VRBO in Hershey.  It's actually a house in a neighborhood built for Hershey staff in the late 1920's.  Really cool!  We did have to laugh when we pulled up and this was our next door neighbor...  Yikes!  ;)

We arrived late last night, and we headed out to Gettysburg this morning.  We always like to put a little history in our family trips... and by "we" I mean Brant.  Hahaha!  This will certainly NOT be the boys' favorite day of the trip, but they were pretty good sports about it! ;)
