Holden's Birthday

Yesterday was Holden's 8th birthday! We started the morning with breakfast and gifts at home.





Then, we surprised the boys with a road trip to Charlotte for the Belk Bowl. Although the score and the weather were both pretty yucky, we still had a fun little adventure. It was very cool watching a game in an NFL stadium! :)













***Holden at 8 loves Legos, Skylanders, Minecraft, Star Wars, NC State and the Patriots. He is still so sweet and loving, always willing to give hugs. He's never met a stranger and is often characterized as "a hoot"! He's a fun little guy, for sure! :)

Weekend Happenings

We had a great weekend! It was so nice to take it easy, enjoy our gifts and play at home together.

Fletcher got the "PieFace" game for Christmas, and it was a BIG hit! Hahaha!











***Fletcher was the winner with the most points/fewest hits with whipped cream. But, he wasn't happy about it! He wanted more whipped cream in his face! ;)


Q got a Guitar Center gift card. Brant took him on Saturday, and he was in heaven!





We ended the weekend with light saber battles by the fire pit! It was a wonderful weekend!

Party Day

Yesterday was a fun party day for all 3 boys!

Q's classroom party was at 9am. There were only a few moms there, and no one was taking pictures. I spared Q and didn't ask him to pose for me! ;)


Holden's party was at 10:30. It was a sweet little party with treats and the Charlie Brown Christmas movie.



Fletcher's gingerbread party was at 11:30. Because of the big boys' school schedule, I wasn't able to attend. But, thankfully, Brant was able to go. They had a special Daddy/Fletchy time!




I had to laugh at these pics of Fletch. Looks like it was a little decorating and a lot of tasting! Looks delicious! ;)

An "Event"ful Sunday

We were at church for most of the day on Sunday. The morning service was the nativity and cantata. We were the proud parents of Joseph and the Christmas donkey. ;)











Later that day, we were back for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever play. The main actors were the youth and a few adults. The preschoolers and children played the part of the angel choir. As you can see from these pictures (taken before the play), they fit in perfectly with the craziness of the pageant! Hahaha!
