Spring Break - Friday

Friday was our official Zion National Park day. What a beautiful park! We explored and hiked until 2pm; we needed to drive back to Vegas to return the rental car in the evening.









We flew home the next morning. What an exhausting, amazing, awe-inspiring family adventure! :)

Spring Break - Thursday

We spent Thursday morning in Page, AZ. We took a tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon. The canyon is on a Navajo reservation; you have to have a tour guide. It was absolutely beautiful!























Before leaving AZ, we took a short hike to view Horseshoe Bend. Totally worth the stop! Wow!





From there, we traveled to Springdale, UT. We drove through Zion National Park on the way to our hotel. The boys were excited to see bighorn sheep! We also hiked to an overlook and took in the sights.

Spring Break - Wednesday

Wednesday = Grand Canyon Day!

We took the train from Williams, AZ into the canyon's depot/village area. The train was really fun. There were singing cowboys, a snack car, and more!

Once we made it into the canyon, we had 4 hours to explore, hike, have lunch . . . and say lots of "careful, not so close to the edge, let's not run, etc."! Yikes! ;)































To end our day, we drove from Williams, AZ to Page, AZ.

Spring Break - Tuesday

Tuesday was our Route 66 day. We drove from Kingsman, AZ to Williams, AZ . . . with lots of little stops along the way. There was no shortage of "character" on this stretch of the Mother Road. ;)
