You've Got Mail

The boys LOVE to walk with me to the mailbox and get our daily mail. They especially LOVE it when something is addressed to them. And, I completely understand why they love getting mail so much. Their mail is never a bill . . . it's always something fun! :-)

Yesterday, they got a thank you note from Mrs. Hill's First Grade class (Flat Stanley project). They were excited to see that their pictures with Flat Stanley made the "big wall" at school!

Been Busy . . .

Holden's been busy helping me around the yard . . .

And, Quinn's been busy working on his big boy bike skills . . .

Other than that, there's not too much to report! So, as you can see, we haven't been too busy, which is just the way I like it! ;-)

March for Babies

What a beautiful morning for a 5K! A BIG THANK YOU to all of our sponsors for their generous donations. We were able to raise $325 for the March of Dimes!

Our family team:
The Fitts (Collins, Maridith, Wesley and Lawson) and The Capps (Kelly, Kenny and Rowan)

*Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of The Whiteds (Thomas, Ashley and Riley) and The Fitts (James and Gail) . . . but, thanks so much for joining us! It was great seeing you!

Quinn's favorite part of the morning? Walking with his buddy Lawson! These two kiddos walked for most of the 5K!!!

Taking a popcorn break . . .

*Again, a very BIG THANK YOU to all of our friends and family for supporting this cause, which is so very special to us! We love y'all!

It's a bird.

It's a plane.
No, it's Super Q!

Super Q to the rescue!

My super talented friend, Maridith, made this superhero cape for Quinn's birthday. He LOVES it! Thank you, Maridith!
*She's making one for Holden, too. ;-)

Oh Boy!

Yes, another boy! *And, according to the ultrasound, a very healthy boy . . . PRAISE THE LORD!

Somehow, this total "girly-girl" has ended up with a brood of boys! I do not think that I will ever understand it. But, I must admit that I LOVE it! I am so very excited for Quinn and Holden. My ultimate prayer is that my 3 boys will be the best of buds and that they will be life-long friends.

I am so very grateful for this house full of boys (including Brant). What blessings! And now, I get to be the queen . . . . all by myself! ;-)

*Oh, and there is no need to think up a new name for the blog! Ha!

Take me out to the ballgame . . .

Last Friday night, Papa Tom and Brant took the boys to their first baseball game. Papa Tom said that the boys were "live wires" that cheered and clapped for every play. He treated them to Mudcats baseball hats. Brant bought them cotton candy and Italian ice. The boys had an absolute blast!

The Party Bus

We had Quinn's birthday party yesterday. The weather was beautiful, and everyone appeared to have a great time! The house has been cleaned, the gifts opened (and put together), the cupcakes eaten, and we are all exhausted (happy, but exhausted)!

The boys were SO excited for the festivities to begin . . .

Mr. Martin brought the Tumblebus . . .

The party crew (minus Aidan and Erin) . . .

It was time to get on the bus and party . . .

Our "theme" was Spiderman . . .

Happy 4th Birthday Quinn! We love you big guy!

Quinn's 4th Birthday - Part 2

Brant came home early from work, and Quinn was THRILLED to finally open presents . . .

Papa Tom came to visit from Michigan to help us celebrate Quinn's birthday. We all went "to Mexico" for dinner; Quinn LOVES going to the Mexican restaurant for chips and salsa and cheese quesadillas. We had cupcakes when we got home (yes, two cupcakes in one day!) . . .

I love this picture! His expression is "all Quinn" . . .

Quinn's 4th Birthday - Part 1

Well, my Quinn is now 4. He is SO VERY excited about getting older and growing into a big boy. One of the first things that he asked this morning? "Are my feet any bigger?" Ha! ;-)

I am excited for him, too. But, I really hope and pray that this year (age 4) goes by slowly. I know that age 5 brings a lot of changes (namely kindergarten and being away from home/ME for most of the day - 5 days a week!). I hope that we are all able to enjoy this age and not rush it too much!

Quinn opened one present this morning . . . his BIG snake! He loved it so much that he took it to preschool for show-n-tell!

Holden and I went to Quinn's preschool at lunch to help sing "Happy Birthday" and eat cupcakes . . .
