Our Little Graduate
Yesterday was a BIG day for Holden . . . his preschool graduation! Mama Carol asked him if he was ready for Kindergarten. His response? "You bet I am!" Ha!

Party in the Rain
Yesterday was Q's End of the Year picnic for first grade. It was at the park and was billed as "rain or shine". Well, we ended up with much more rain than shine, but the kids had an absolute blast. They were WET and MUDDY, but they all seemed to love it!

Q's teacher is retiring after 41 years at his school (and 48 years of teaching). The class presented her with gifts of appreciation.

A Fun Festival
We spent part of our Saturday at the "Got to be NC" festival at the fairgrounds. It was a lot of fun!
We watched the tractor parade,

rode a few rides,

and saw some friends (the Glovers).

It started pouring. So, we ran to the car and took the boys to one of our old college hangouts . . . the Waffle House. They LOVED it!
