I said it for years... we don't need a dog.  

I was 100% wrong.

Yes, we are now those people... those people who celebrate their dog's birthday.  ;)

Saturday Outing

We had a free Saturday in town and decided to make it a museum day.  We spent some time at the NC Museum of Art first (not the boys' favorite to put it mildly, but it was super fun for me & Brant - ha!)...

We did a little shopping and lunch, and then we wrapped up the afternoon at the NC Museum of History... which the boys much preferred! ;)

While Fletch and I were at the ball field, Brant and the other boys headed to Michigan to see family.  The road trip was super fun, and the time with family was priceless! 

Holiday Beach Week

It was our annual 4th of July beach week... with lots of fun with our friends, the Foushees & the Mikuleckys.  It was a shorter trip this time because of F's baseball practice and tropical storm Elsa, but we squeezed in as much fun as we could.  It was a blast!  :)
