Holden's 13th Birthday

We now have 2 teenagers!  13 years ago today, Holden arrived 2 months early.  He's been keeping us on our toes (and highly entertained) ever since.  

As a teacher wrote in a card to him a few weeks ago, "your sweet outgoing personality is a joy to all who know you.  I never know what you are going to say next."  I couldn't have said it better myself.  ;)

We celebrated today with doughnuts and an escape room (where we escaped with 40 seconds to spare - whew!).  :)

Indoor Skydiving

Holden's outing for his 13th birthday (celebrating a few days early)?  Indoor skydiving!  It was so very fun!  We split the family package of 10 minutes of flight time.  We had an absolute blast!  :) 

Christmas 2020

It was a very different Christmas Eve and Christmas day.  But as we've had to learn repeatedly in 2020, different can still be special.  We're so very fortunate to be healthy, happy and able to celebrate the birth of Jesus.  Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving 2020

This year's Thanksgiving looked a little different.  It was a small crowd... just us and Mama Carol.  

We're extremely thankful for another year, good health, family time... and the fact that my first ever attempted cornbread dressing was edible!  ;)
