Mother/son Dance

Tonight was the special mother/son (and father/daughter) dance at Holden's cotillion. The moms were excited about it. The sons? They tolerated it as best they could! ;)







It really is a shame that this middle boy of mine has such a boring personality! Hahaha! Love him!

Someone made the spring Express baseball team and was SUPER excited about it! ;)

Final Bday Celebration

When you're a December/Christmas baby, how do you make sure your birthday doesn't get lost in the busy holiday season? You party a month later, of course! Ha!

Holden's birthday has become his birth month, and he's been thoroughly celebrated! ;)

Mountain Trip

We spent the long holiday weekend in the beautiful NC mountains.

We tubed at Hawk's Nest on Saturday . . .





We skied at Appalachian on Sunday (we made it 6+ hours in extremely cold conditions - wind chill of 4 degrees!). . .







We got up and drove home today (it was so cold in the van overnight that the water in the water bottle froze - yikes!) . . .

Chapel Awards

What's even better than receiving a surprise chapel award? Receiving one on the same day as your brother! :)

Saturday's NC State vs Pitt game . . . Wow! What a crazy game for Q to have a front row seat as ball boy.

Thank goodness we were able to get it together and pull out a win. Go Pack!

Unfortunately, we didn't win tonight's State/Carolina game . . . but, it was still a super fun date night. The Wolfpack fought hard, and "we'll get 'em next time"! :)

Birthday Fun

We celebrated Holden's birthday with his 2 bros and 2 buds (Wiley & Connor). It was a wild, crazy & fun time! ;)

The Bass

We can add one more instrument to Quinn's repertoire . . . the bass! For the church JOG band, he can now fill in on the guitar, keys and bass. He dreams now of a chance to play the drums! ;)
