We spent most of our Palm Sunday at church. The boys participated in the traditional service that morning. Fletcher and Holden walked in with palm leaves. Quinn and the 3rd-5th graders sang the anthem with the choir.
We were back at church Sunday afternoon. We had an Easter party and egg hunt, followed by dinner. We wrapped up the evening with a program put on by the children and youth.
Last Saturday, the boys had a blast at little Henry's firetruck themed birthday party. Spraying the hose and riding around the neighborhood were probably their 2 favorite parts! :-)
A couple of weeks ago, we stayed after church for a mission project. The kids made cards to go with Easter baskets for the Ronald McDonald House. It was a special time with church friends.
Today was "Dad's Day" at Fletcher's preschool. Fletch was THRILLED to have the extra special time with his Daddy. They sang songs and ate a hot dog lunch, complete with Doritos and donuts.
The best part of the day? All of the "gifts" Fletcher made for Brant! We got a kick out of his drawings and thoughts about his Daddy! Hahaha!
We spent our rainy Saturday morning running in the WCA Mission 5K and fun run. This was the 4th 5K for Brant and Quinn; they started when Q was in kindergarten.
Holden was determined to join them this year. When he crossed the finish line, he was very proud of himself! Quinn ran ahead of Brant and Holden and tied for 4th in his age division.
Right after the 5K was the mile fun run for all five of us. Fletcher was excited for his chance to run, too! ;-)
I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 terrific boys (Quinn, Holden and Fletcher). They, along with Brant (my wonderful hubby), are "my boys". The purpose of my blog is to journal and share this adventure of life with all of our family and friends. "This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
