Last Saturday was the final game of Coach Brant and Fletcher's soccer season. It's been a sweet, fun time with the Red Eagles! :)

Concert Fun

Brant and I (along with the Mikuleckys and Foushees) were supposed to see Charlie Daniels and Alabama a couple of weeks ago. Because of the hurricane, it was rescheduled to this past Sunday. Papa Tom was visiting from Michigan, so I decided to take Q. He LOVES music and really felt like a big boy getting to go. It was a fun night! :)

We had a "totally" fun time at the Sims' 80's Halloween party over the weekend! We partied like it's 1989! ;)

Golf Tourney

While Q and I were at his soccer game, Brant took Holden and Fletch to the SAS Championship. It was a beautiful day to watch some golf! :)

Fair Fun

We kicked off fall break with an afternoon of fun at the NC State Fair!














And, look . . . it's Fletcher's artwork! He was 1 of 6 elementary students chosen to represent his school. He was very excited and proud! :)

Matthew

We had an eventful weekend . . . Hurricane Matthew moved through our area. We were very fortunate, only losing power for 7 hours and having very little damage.

It didn't stop Brant from braving the storm to watch NCSU beat Notre Dame! Crazy boys! The wives and children were smart enough to stay home. ;)




All of our other weekend activities were cancelled. It was actually kind of nice to play board games, read and be stuck inside as a family.


On Sunday, church still had no power. Holden and I stayed home and cleaned up our yard. Brant and the other boys joined the Foushees and worked to clean up around the church grounds and to help some elderly church members with yard work.

Luke's

A little Stars Hollow in Raleigh for me and Charity yesterday morning. . .

In celebration of the 16th anniversary of the start of Gilmore Girls & the Netflix reunion later this year, these Luke's coffee shops popped up around the country. Fun, fun! :)

Cotillion

Guess who's dressing to impress and learning some dance moves and manners?!? Yep, this guy . . .





Hahaha! Thank goodness so many buddies are going each month, too. Q, Tyler, Ross, Davis, Pierce, Benji, Austin & Ryan are all appeasing their mothers and participating! ;)
