Holden's 7th Birthday

The H-man turned 7 yesterday!!!

We started the day with a birthday breakfast of Star Wars pancakes and bacon, followed by LOTS of Lego building time.


The afternoon was spent at the NC State basketball game. The Wolfpack played miserably, and we lost to Cincinnati. But it was still super fun to eat popcorn and to see Holden's name on the birthday scoreboard!






We had tacos and chicken wings for dinner at Armadillo Grill and finished the day with Cookout milkshakes at home. What an awesome birthday for an awesome BIG guy! We love you Holden!!!

***We'll have a birthday party with his buddies at the skating rink next weekend. :-)

Christmas Sweaters

Last Saturday night, we went to the Prichards' "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party. It was quite comical to see everyone's crazy sweaters. Some folks really got into the party theme! ;-)

Brant's sweater was a size 3X ladies vest from Wal-mart. Isn't he cute? Ha!

Our church's cantata and nativity (preschool - 2nd grade) was last Sunday. Now that Q is in 3rd grade, we only had 2 boys participate. It's always super sweet (and a little silly); I love it so much each year! :-)

We were busy last week running around from school to school having lots of Christmas fun! :-)
